Acquisitions - Co-Founder
Kevin Woo
Kevin Woo, co-founded Akaw Development with a commitment to address the unfilled market gaps in middle income housing in the San Diego area. Throughout his career, Woo has demonstrated the ability to recognize, pursue and execute on market opportunities.
Kevin's journey to Akaw Development includes executive roles in emerging technology companies to property investment and development.
Kevin holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of California San Diego, an MBA from University of California Los Angeles, an MPS in Real Estate Development from Georgetown University, and a California Real Estate Broker’s license.
Construction - Co-Founder
Michael Jurado
Michael manages all construction development at the company. Bringing his past experiences to incorporate a vertically integrated, cohesive development process.
Michael has over $94 million in completed construction projects over his 15 years in the industry. Past project experience includes hospitality (hotels), office, industrial (warehouses), building and site repositions, retail, multifamily (apartments), senior living, media and entertainment, aviation and education (schools).
Michael has a Masters in Real Estate Development from USC, MBA from UCLA and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the US Naval academy. He also holds contractor engineering "A" license and building contractor "B" license.
Operations - Co-Founder
Robert McArdle
Robert manages all operations requirements of the company. Using technology and innovation to streamline procedures and create efficiencies, resulting in high qualify projects.
Robert brings overs 20 years of operations in management roles in multiple start-ups and as a business owner.
Robert has an MBA from University of San Diego and Economics degree from UMBC.
